“As soon as I saw the first challenge announced I knew it was make or break time, with my first weigh-in of 97.4kg a huge shock. For me, the secret to success was always following the plan, not making excuses, and getting to the gym 6 days a week, even when I didn’t feel up to it. After 8 weeks of hard work, my final weigh in was 84.4kg, I had lost 13kg! The challenge has truly saved me!
I have gone on to do a further 2 challenges and successfully lost a total of 30kg in less than 12 months.

Joining The Shed in June 2021 was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am stronger and in better shape than I have been for many years. Josh and Adam encouraged me to sign up to the 8-week challenge back in July last year. I have now done 3 consecutive challenges and have lost a total of 28kgs.

Although I despise this picture of myself, it is also the picture which made me do something about myself which I am so grateful for. I always knew I was overweight, but this picture yelled out to me that I had to do something with my health. I have never looked back now that I have lost over 28kg in approximately 9 months.
I commenced my 1st challenge back in July last year and lost 12.5kg together with 54.6cm and was privileged to have won this challenge in the lady section.
When I commenced the second challenge, I was aiming to look my best for my daughter’s graduation. Although I did not reach my goal weight,(I was aiming for another 10kg) I still continued loosing and lost a further 8.8kg.
Challenge number 3 has lived up to it’s name. In the first few weeks, my weight would either stay in one spot or move up 500g it was a yoyo journey and I was getting really frustrated with myself, as I knew I was working out and eating correctly. After about the fourth week, things started moving in the right direction and in this challenge I have lost around 7.8kg. Although I have not reached my goal weight,(only a few kilos to go) I am very close and determined to get there in the next challenge.

I have always been around the gym but never incorporated a nutrition program into my workouts. Two months ago, I went into the 8 Week Body Transformation open minded unsure of what to expect. The program The Shed provided was amazing with the flexibility to alter food intake, so I was able to obtain my goal. “I joined The Shed NQ Health & Fitness in early May this year. I was in a real rut with my weight loss journey, feeling very deflated and struggling to find motivation to keep going.
